Egyptian artist Medhat Nour was born in Fayoum in 1992. In 2016, he obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work. He devoted himself to working in journalism as a cartoonist for many newspapers, including Al-Ahali newspaper, Rose al-Youssef magazine and the Masrawy website until 2018. After that, he worked on children's book illustrations until 2020.

From 2020 on, Medhat focused on fine arts. His work emphasises his personal experience, which centers around love, human emotions and the connection between different beings - humans, animals and nature - and their shared feelings of love and unity. His works reflect these various ideas and emphasis e the harmony between the living beings inhabiting this earth. His artistic journey has also explored the contrast between Egypt's ancient past and the modern present, offering a vision that connects emotions of love and tenderness across time.
