CAliMA Art Gallery

Haitham Amer was born in Qena Governorate in 1976. He taught at several universities across Egypt and is currently an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Fine Arts of Luxor University. Haitham designed and carried out many murals and statues on squares in Qena, Beheira and Dakahlia governates and participated in many local and international exhibitions and conferences.

The popular heritage and the Upper Egyptian identity have been the source and inspiration of Haitham's creativity since childhood when he formed his first sculptures from clay. Later on, during his studies, he discovered the diversity of raw materials and modern technologies. He performed statues of large sizes in several fields and different governorates.
